Barnes Wallis IPA Bitter 4.1% (our session bitter)Named after Ripley's local hero, who lived near our brewery tap, Barnes Wallis is our best selling session ale. Styled as an easy-drinking IPA-style bitter, copper-coloured for a full malt flavour and hopped with Northern Brewer and spicy Syrian Goldings.

Derbyshire Gold 4.0% (highly hopped pale golden ale)Derbyshre Gold is our well hopped golden ale, with lots of flavour from the high-alpha Nugget and Galena hops, and a good cara-malt base.

SIBA Midlands Strong Ales 2008 - Silver medalA real-ale drinker's nirvana, this traditional IPA has a substantial malty base with a big hop profile, taking its cue from the traditional Burton world-beater and also from the hoppy US craft beers, triple hopped using a unique blend of four different hop profiles. Combination of Nugget, Syrian Goldings, Cascade and Goldings.

Winter Ruby Fireside Ale 5.1%Winter Ruby is our rich, ruby ale perfect for sipping next to the fireside when the winter nights draw in. The biscuit tasting, malty base is balanced with a subtle flavour of Saaz hops.

Summer Bock 4.5%Our chestnut-coloured summer ale, was inspired by the European dark lager-style ales and made in the Amber way of blending tradition with the contemporary. It has a clean tasting Munich malt base and low hop aroma making it decidedly moreish and easy to drink.

Blond 3.9%A lighter drinking ale version of a German lager - Blond is packed full of taste despite a low abv and malt content. Well balanced and hopped with Saaz, Liberty and Hallertau.

Tamworth CAMRA: Beer of the Festival 2006Our very first brew, Amber pale is made with Maris Otter pale malt with a touch of crystal, and triple-hopped exclusively with Goldings sourced from Herefordshire.
