The owner is brilliant and the team is well mannered and professional. Its quite busy on Saturday's so book in advance. Food is quite good and the Nepalese dishes have their own character. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Edit :. As a Delhite, finding authentic North Indian food in the UK is rare, but 8848 Restaurant has officially taken the crown in Aberdeen. We visited using an itison deal but ordered several separate dishes to truly test the menu. The Food:. The Delhi Butter Chicken was a ditto replica of what you get in Delhi—Honey/tangy, creamy, and spot on. The Chilli Chicken was another perfect replica of Delhi’s delight. The Lamb Biryani was brilliant, and the Garlic Naan was thin and beautiful, exactly how it is served in North India.
