On the deposit: I hear you, and the lack of flexibility is feedback I take seriously. We're a small room, and a late no-show is a table we can't refill, which is the thinking behind securing bookings but that's an explanation, not a brush-off. Where a guest gives us reasonable notice, we will always try to move a booking rather than see it lost, and I'm sorry if that wasn't made clear to you at the time.On the space: you're right that AMPM is intimate rather than vast, and that's by design. The close, characterful, slightly theatrical feel is the heart of what we are, rather than a grand or minimalist dining hall. I'm sorry it read as smaller than the photography led you to picture I'd far rather a guest arrive imagining exactly the room they'll sit in. And for arrival drinks, our rooftop, The Treehouse, is really the space your point is reaching for well worth knowing for next time.On the food, I won't argue with your palate "fine but not memorable" is not what we aim for, and I'm genuinely disappointed it didn't land for you.
