On a busy day, I used the app to order a burger ahead of time, thinking that would save time versus going through the drive through. I was wrong. It took 13 minutes for a simple burger order. When I arrived at the location to pick up my order, I went inside and confirmed that it showed up on the "next up" screen. After 10 minutes of waiting, I asked the cashier about my order. He wasn't interested in helping, so I asked again and got a flippant response that it wasn't his job, pointing to another employee. That second employee also didn't seem to care. 13 minutes after placing the order, it was brusquely handed to me without so much as a smile or a "sorry for the wait". This is not the first time I've had very slow and poor service from this location. In my experience, this is the slowest A&W location anywhere. Every other location that I've been to in the Edmonton region has been quick and friendly. Avoid this location unless you're a fan of long waits and poor service. My husband and I stopped here for lunch after visiting Orchard Dental in Leduc. We both had Mama cheese burgers and shared onion rings and a rootbeer. Everything was excellent. Even better than the food, was the service. A side note here: I don't want to get political but . . . the staff were all foreign workers and they were amazing. I just hope they will be able to work in this province, or want to, following the October referendums. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
