Ordered 2 curries, the curries were basically pieces of half cooked chicken tikka thrown in to curry sauce, asked for chillis to be added and whole raw green chillis were thrown in to the mix, you could tell that this wasn’t cooked as a curry is meant to be, all ingredients are pre cooked separately and mixed around. Daventry does need a good curry place unfortunately Afeem is not it and improvment is need with cooking and quality of meat. Chicken needs to be well cooked in a wok instead of prepared tikka pieces which Afeem is passing off as chicken curry.

Food took a while to come around half an hour after the eta from the website, this is fine as its Saturday but maybe update the delivery eta on the app. Food was tasty but unfortunately it was lukewarm at best causing bajis to be soggy, had to microwave it as didn't want to wait another hour for a new order - not a big deal but a little disappointing considering the price. The bombay aloo was really good and the tikka chicken was nicely cooked (I didn't eat it) I had a veggie curry dish, the vegetables used felt like everything they had left over, as it wasn't a cohesive selection of veg, 1 potato slice, some beans some mushrooms, peas etc, veg also all very small in size too - would prefer chunkier next time Service: Takeaway Price per person: £40–50 Vegetarian options: Not many
