The staff are very nice and friendly and the food is very nice and luxury to eat and enjoy the wonderful views of the river crouch in Hullbridge. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot Kid-friendliness: This is a children friendly place to visit because they have got a kids menu. Wheelchair accessibility: This place is definitely accessible to get into the posh restaurant.

From our first date we have loved The Anchor for it's superb menu, delicious food and world class service. Laura and Louise make each and every visit a genuine pleasure with their warm and inviting personalities and high recommended food selections. The staff here cannot do enough and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. A truly sensational place for a relaxing drink, a lazy lunch or a spot of dinner. We will be coming here for many more years to come.

Visited to celebrate my son’s 21st and had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and attentive and even gave my son a free pint to help celebrate, which was a thoughtful touch and very appreciated. The food was excellent, well presented and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you for making our celebration feel special.
