Great local pub. The manager has great customer service and has really made the pub garden much more fun with live bands .

The Anchor Inn in Ringmer is a real gem. The food is consistently excellent, with well-cooked, generously portioned dishes that clearly use fresh, quality ingredients. Whether you’re going for a classic pub favourite or something a bit more refined, everything is full of flavour and thoughtfully presented. What really sets the Anchor Inn apart, though, is the atmosphere. It has that perfect balance of being cosy and welcoming while still feeling lively and social. The traditional pub setting, combined with friendly, attentive staff, makes it a place where you instantly feel comfortable and relaxed. It’s the kind of pub you can happily spend hours in — ideal for a casual lunch, a relaxed evening meal, or drinks with friends. A fantastic local pub that Ringmer can be proud of, and one I’d happily recommend to anyone.
