Absolutely loved this place. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky inside, and the chips were fresh and fluffy. Generous portions and friendly service too. Definitely one of the best fish & chips I’ve had! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a great experience at Anchors Chippy. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, with a light, crispy batter that wasn’t greasy at all. The chips were proper chip shop chips—thick, fluffy on the inside, and nicely crisp on the outside. The portions were generous for the price, and everything tasted like it had just been made to order. The staff were friendly and efficient, even though it was fairly busy when I visited. If you’re looking for a reliable, traditional fish and chips spot, this place definitely delivers. I’ll be coming back again!
