We visited the pub after the balloon festival and parked in their car park for £10, which was very convenient and reasonably priced. However, we were disappointed by the experience afterwards. The pub owner refused to let us use the toilet, which we found quite unfriendly and unwelcoming, especially after we had paid to park there. The parking was great, but the customer service could definitely have been more welcoming.

Visited the area during the Balloon Fiesta and was deeply disappointed by the management here. My 8-year-old child was desperate to use the toilet, but the staff flatly refused to let them use the facilities simply because we weren't buying a drink at that exact moment. I understand being busy during the festival, but turning away a young child in urgent need shows a complete lack of basic human decency and community spirit. Will not be returning to support this business in the future.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to eat after dropping relatives off at the airport. The Angel Inn was recommended to us by patrons at a different pub who didn't serve food on a Saturday! It looked old but pretty on the outside and when we went in it was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious. I ordered a side of onion rings not realising my lunch came with a huge onion rings. There was so much on our plates we ended up asking for a tray to bring the leftovers home to pick on later but when we got back to south Wales we were still stuffed and couldn't eat it. Our dog approved of his snack Well definitely call there again if we're up Bristol way again
