Quite possibly the worst meal I’ve ever bought! I visited The Angel quite a while ago and ordered a Sunday lunch, when it arrived it was off a very poor standard. As it was late on a Sunday evening I assumed it was because it was the end of the day and didn’t leave a review. We returned on Sunday lunchtime and unfortunately things are no better. I can’t find anything positive to say about the food, crackling was too hard to eat, potatoes were hard and rubbery, veg looked like it had been nuked! The Yorkshire and gravy were ok though! It’s safe to say we won’t be going back for food, the only positive from our visit is that there was no washing up to do. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Pre-booked a table for 5- including a highchair, which had been set up for when we got there along with plenty of room for the pram. Great menu - something for everyone and the drinks range was fab too. Friendly and helpful staff and a relaxed environment to bring children to. There’s plenty of parking and traffic lights to cross at if you’re walking there. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ordered food that would even feed the starving. Never seen or had such meagre portions anywhere else, than here. Menu photos are a complete joke. Miserable staff woman couldn’t be more miserable and robotic. Lunch time. We will never return to The Angel Inn, Longham, Wimborne, Dorset. Be warned you are paying quite a lot of money for literally nothing. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch
