A lovely place with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet meal. I had the Hunter's Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Friendly service and a great overall experience. I'll definitely be coming back. ️

I recently visited (set foot in) the angel inn - rothwell on wednesday 18/03/2026, with a group from 'specialist autism services charity' centre from stourton just down the same wakefield road as this astoundingly imposing pub, Having passed the pub numbers of times, It's the very first time I got set foot within the angel inn - rothwell, for whom the atmosphere was astounding, service was superbly sensational, even the food was scrumptiously tasty and the soft drinks are ever so refreshing, It's great to also see photos, illustrated artwork and other memrobilia well displayed upon every wall within the angel inn, even the bar is brilliantly terrific... OH, and I was surprised to discover that here's also a darts board within the angel inn as well, so I hope to have a go at playing darts there next time I visit thus revisit the astounding angel inn - rothwell, Additionally, even the lighting within the pub is well brightly uplifting, making the inside of the angel inn, quite lively as the eye can see, OH YES, the angel inn - rothwell, one of yorkshire's tip top, most characterfully uplifting pubs of all time, successfully offering fantastically well-prepared meals, as well as very refreshing soft drinks, even friendly staff play a vital yet crucial role behind the well successful running of said angel inn - rothwell. Like every other pub, the angel inn, also has a fine row of flower baskets to liven up the outside during the spring as well as summer, let alone autumn throughout the year all-round. I myself forever recommend the angel inn - rothwell, for it's great services to welcoming those who'll look forward to an experience like no other. Tip-TOP.... 30 out of 30.
