Parked up for the night in the motorhome, the owner was very polite and friendly and made us feel at home. The staff were absolutely brilliant.

Ah David it was a pleasure to meet you, that video from the Edinburgh Tattoo honestly blew me away. I can't wait to get booked up and experience it for myself. Called in for sunday lunch at 12 pm got seated and waitress came and took drinks order we both chose the carvery and as usual it didn't disappoint lovely fresh veg nice big Yorkshire puds tender meats (Beef & pork today for us) and lovely thick gravy it was divin. On this occasion i had to pass on dessert as was so full, i would definitely recommend The Angel carvery and will certainly be back

Christine thank you so very much for your very detailed and fantastic review, as a small business this really does help. I have to admit, I don't work Sunday's but I love nothing more than coming in for my Sunday carvery, it really is divine, our chefs work hard from about 6am to get everything prepared fresh. We stopped at the Angel View Hotel the last couple of days. Our room was in the Stables courtyard which was a quiet and very comfortable room and had a beautiful outlook onto the well maintained garden. We ate in the restaurant twice and both throughly enjoyed our meals. The breakfasts were generous and well cooked. All the staff were very attentive, efficient and polite. My husband gave lecture in the Mulberry room which was laid out with all the necessary facilities. We had a buffet lunch which had a wide variety of different hot and cold item to choose from. You can indeed see the Angel of the North from the hotel and there is a pleasant field across from the hotel with numerous seats to enjoy the view. We would definitely stay at the Angel view again, thank you.
