Only found this gem this morning. I ate one of the nicest pasties I have ever eaten. The shop does sausage rolls, sandwiches etc. Appleton residents are lucky to have this shop in their village! You must try it if your in the village. ,

Every thing you want in a community-run village shop. All the basics, papers etc., along with good frozen meals from a local producer, and excellent home made cakes. Some seats outside- Good place to start and finish a walk down to the Thames. Warning! Shop close s at midday on Sunday - don't h turn up at 1 expecting an icecream..

Lovely little shop, the shop staff were awesome, and help my wife with the coffee machine and it was an excellent cup of coffee, thank you both for a great experience at Appleton Community Shop.
