Was staying at the Headland and decided to come to the Loft for breakfast. Lovely service, lady was very helpful and cheersful. She pointed us to a table around the back. Ordered the granola and a latte and both were delicious so followed it up with waffles. Ignore the crank review about seagulls, there are no starving seagulls in this part of Cornwall and they are not dehydrated. Tables have a bottle of water to spray any that attempt to nick your food. Remember, seagulls are scavengers and can feed from bins, landfills and roadkill, so you do not want them to swipe your waffles. Yes they are wildlife, yes I would never harm them but it is not illegal or awful to spray them with water....and if they were dehydrated, you would be doing them a favour. *Lovely reasonably-priced café* What a lovely café.. we're staying nearby and decided to walk the half a mile into the village for breakfast. The staff here are gloriously lovely and friendly. And the waffles are particularly good.. they also do a very nice latte! Price is very reasonable - especially for such a small business where overheads will be massive! (Waffles and tea for 2 was under £20). They also really kindly provide a humane way to guard your food from the seagulls (a water filled spray bottle)... as a someone who's Cornish bred and knows exactly how viciously they can attack when scavenging for food, I was quite grateful to see something to fend them off. Many thanks to the lovely owner and staff for such a lovely breakfast! Meal type: Breakfast
