I almost always order the Northern Twist (see my post "Get the Northern Twist!"), but in an effort to convince my wife that she didn't marry "that guy who orders the same thing every time", I decided to branch out and order the Southwestern Twist. Note: the Southwestern Twist may not appear on the menu board (yet), but it is often featured as a special. They will also make it if you request it.
I wasn't sure what to expect because I almost always order the Northern Twist and am duly impressed every time. However, to my delight, the Southwestern Twist is an exceptional sandwich. I don't think it has replaced the Northern Twist as my favourite, but it was great and I would have no hesitation about ordering it again.
A word about crisps. Crisps are Around the Bend's answer to french fries and are simply delicious. My wife managed to finish almost all of them by herself and we had to order a second helping. Take my advice: if your wife is hungry, get the family sized order of crisps.

Get the Northern Twist!. I am a regular customer at Around the Bend and am fully committed to the Northern Twist -- it is by far my favourite sandwich. I order it every time.
I can't wait to go back and get my next one.
