I literally felt like I was in heaven. I was craving for Persian food, and this place definitely delivers. Everyone gets a portion of tahdig (side dishes like rice are to be ordered separately — great if you’re laying low on the carbs), the kebabs were deliciously grilled, and Bastani Sonati (I was reading a book that mentioned this and thought I had to try it)! Then topping it all off with cardamom-infused black tea This feast, set outdoors facing the greenery and isolated by noise by a giant, clear plexiglass wall If you’re lucky to be here on a quiet day like I was, you’re definitely going in for a journey on the senses. The service was amazing and friendly too. A definite must-visit if you’re searching for a taste of Iran! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went to a fantastic Iranian restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere that we really loved. The food was amazing, especially kebab torsh, kal kebab, and traditional ice cream. The owner is a lovely woman from northern Iran. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely come back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There were four of us, and we decided to have dinner at Asal Persisches Restaurant Freiburg. After seeing the menu and the presentation of the dishes, we expected to have a fantastic and delicious evening, but unfortunately, that didn’t happen. The food looked visually stunning and appealing, but when it came to taste, it was completely disappointing. The kebabs didn’t have the authentic taste of Persian kebabs, and it seemed like there was an issue with the quality and flavor of the ingredients. The other dishes weren’t any better; despite their beautiful appearance, they lacked the rich and delicious flavor we were expecting. All four of us were dissatisfied with the food, and none of us could recall even one dish as a positive experience. Unfortunately, under these circumstances, we cannot give Asal Persisches Restaurant Freiburg a 5-star rating. We hope the management pays attention to these issues and improves the quality and taste of the food so that customers can have a better experience. Wann waren sie denn zum Abend essen da ? Und was haben sie gegessen? Unser Personal hat jeden Kunden immer freundlich gefragt ob alles in Ordnung wäre und ob es ihnen geschmeckt hat ! Keine Gäste haben sich bis jetzt beschwert und es kam auch kein Teller mit essen zurück in die Küche !
