I wish there’s 0 star ratings available. Average food with a disaster service. The management doesn’t even bother to look after the customers. Everyone is just running around like headless chickens.food is overpriced aswell. Never going back again Price per person: £60–70 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Are you sure you have the correct restaurant? We are a takeaway and do not serve dine in?

I want to preface this by saying that the food is usually really good. However, this was probably the worst food delivery experience I’ve ever had. I placed the order at 18:00. It was marked “out for delivery” at 18:45 with an ETA of 18:50. I understand that delays can happen, but the main issue was the complete lack of communication. Both Deliveroo and I tried calling the restaurant repeatedly, but the phone just rang out every time. I continued trying throughout the wait, with no answer or update. Eventually, at 20:30 — with still no sign of the food or any contact — I managed to cancel the order through Deliveroo. I’ll never know whether the food was actually meant to show up! The saddest part is that I’ve had their food many times over the years and always enjoyed it, but I don’t want to go through that experience again — so they’ve lost a customer. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Dear Jay, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We'd like to apologise for your experience last night, unfortunately we'd had a complete phone line failure all of a sudden on the night and no way to see live or pending orders. We rely wholly on the phones and online systems. Orders came through intermittently and BT support were no help. We're really sorry that we were unable to deliver your meal to you. We hope you'll consider Ashleys again in the future. Kind regards
