We came across the Auehof Hotel & Restaurant by chance. A quick look at the clearly laid out homepage and it was clear to us that we would book the “Landlust Gourmet Days” package with a 4-course gourmet menu and a 5-course surprise menu. A quick call and just one day later we were able to arrive relaxed. Hotel: Friendly welcome upon arrival. The large double room with a small balcony and good mattresses was very clean and comfortable, and had additional seating. Quite a small bathroom with a walk-in shower - but completely sufficient for a few days. Unfortunately, you can hear some traffic noise in the rooms - but this is completely irrelevant to what the restaurant had to offer. Restaurant: Very friendly and helpful staff. A good drinks and wine list. On both evenings we were presented with a menu where we were able to experience one taste explosion after another! What the cooking team has come up with in terms of taste, appearance and innovation - incredibly delicious There was nothing left on any of our plates. 4 or 5 courses and about 3 hours later we were pretty full and happy with our choice of hotel and restaurant. A huge compliment to the kitchen The dishes that were presented with so much creativity, love and craftsmanship - we are still absolutely thrilled today! Besides us, other guests were also impressed by the quality of the food! We have a clear recommendation for the hotel and especially for the excellent cuisine. We will be back definitely!
