I am originally from the north of Iraq and now live in Edinburgh. Every time I visit London, I make sure to come to this amazing place at least once or twice. In fact, there have been times when I’ve travelled to London with no other reason than to eat here. Although I have eaten at many Kurdish restaurants in UK disappointingly which I always compare them to you but sadly nothing like what you guys provide. What makes this place so special is its uniqueness and simplicity. Please don’t ever change it or modernise it—that is exactly what I love about it. It reminds me of the traditional restaurants back home and brings back wonderful memories. I have tried many dishes here, and every single one has been exceptionally delicious. As someone who enjoys cooking traditional dishes for family and friends, I can always tell when food has been prepared with love, care, and passion, and that is exactly what you taste here. I never mind waiting for my food because I know it is freshly prepared and always worth the wait. The portions are also generous and great value. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for your hard work, dedication, and for consistently providing such a wonderful dining experience. We had the best food at Azmar restaurant, the food was authentic, fresh, and full of rich, homemade flavors. Every dish was prepared with care, using high-quality ingredients and generous portions.
