We Had such a lovely meal here! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. Since the restaurant changed owner lately, the overall service has improved dramatically, and it really shows. The new owner is incredibly warm and welcoming, and all the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The stir-fried beef (小炒牛肉) and spicy chicken (辣子鸡) were incredibly authentic and full of flavour. The sweet and sour crispy pork (锅包肉) and braised chicken with rice (黄焖鸡) were also delicious. Both my friend and I are Chinese, so we're quite particular about authentic flavours, and we all really enjoyed the food. Our British and European friends loved it too! We'll definitely be coming back again. The photos I took don't really do the dishes justice they taste better in person. If you haven't tried it after they change the new owner, you should give it a go. Price per person: £20–30

This restaurant is a case in point of why you need to check reviews before you step into a restaurant. I stumbled into this restaurant along the Main Street of chinatown - it turned out to be the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. The 紅燒肉 was just a bunch of incredibly tough pork belly pieces that taste like they have been sitting in the fridge for two weeks. The beans had visible dirt on them. Everything was covered in this thick slurry sauce that was sickeningly sweet. Even the milk tea was so diluted. Avoid. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

This is lowkey good. We ordered like 6 or 7 dishes and it was all good. The spicy fried chicken, despite its imitating look, is NOT spicy at all. At least for my Chinese tongue.. The tofu was great, and I especially like the topping on top. The ribs were like sweet, and it’s just greta in general. 10/10 no drama Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
