I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this BP service station 22/03/2026 at around 12:50am. I was driving on the motorway with my fuel tank almost empty and already on reserve, so stopping here wasn’t a choice—it was a necessity. When I arrived, the forecourt lights were on, but the shop itself was completely dark, making it look closed. There was no clear indication of whether the station was open or not. I waited and even honked my horn multiple times, but no one responded. Eventually, I got out and knocked on the window, and only then did I notice a staff member inside sitting in the dark. After some time, she finally came to the window and allowed me to refuel. This kind of service is completely unacceptable, especially at a motorway service station where drivers rely on fuel being available at all times. Sitting inside with the lights off and ignoring customers creates confusion and unnecessary stress—particularly in situations like mine where fuel is critically low. Very poor experience. This needs to be addressed urgently.
