On friday the 24th April I placed an order via uber eats. When the order was 20minutes after the arrival time I called the restaurant to ask where the order was, they said the driver was a * few minutes away* . I waited another 10minutes and contacted them again they asked to give more time as the driver was on the way. They said it was delayed because if friday prayer time and it had been busy. I had a school pick up and could not wait any longer, really frustrated by the delays and being told incorrect waiting times. I spoke to ALI at the restaurant who apologised. I said I could not wait for the order any longer and to cancel. He AGREED and said I WOULD BE REFUNDED. Uber took my payment anyway!! I contacted uber who said they couldn't help so I am writing this review expecting Ali or someone from the restaurant to contact me and update me about my refund which they agreed to. I am so disappointed and I will not allow this matter to rest until I am refunded. ** please note bader restaurant the payment came out if my account from a place called YUM YUM SHAWARMA * which has reportedly been closed since November 2025? I initially posted this review on their website and have then realised this is not baders restaurant?
