It was lovely to discover an Indonesian restaurant in Liverpool. The location is not particularly easy to find, so we had a bit of difficulty locating the entrance. It is situated within a food court with plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is comfortable for sitting and chatting over a meal, although the music was slightly too loud. The menu offers quite a good variety of dishes. I tried the *gado-gado*, but was disappointed that it did not come with *lontong* even though it was listed in the menu description. Nevertheless, the flavour was good. The *es campur* was also refreshing, with a varied selection of ingredients and just the right level of sweetness. The service was good, and the prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went there with my friends last Friday and wasn't disappointed. As I love Indonesian food, this was just a bliss. Ordered Malaysian laksa, iced tea and martabak. Absolutely unreal food, 100/10! The owners are really lovely, everything is fresh and it brings me back to my trip to Indonesia. Will definitely be back and try more dishes from the menu Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was having a short visit to Liverpool. Whilst looking for dinner around citycentre, I came across Bali cafe. There are plenty of choices for Indonesian cuisine on the menu. I tried nasi uduk / nasi lemak which is a fragrant rice, cooked in coconut milk, accompanied by spicy sambal with fried anchovies and toasted peanuts, beef rendand, shrimp, coconut coated boiled egg, tempeh, tofu, lettuce and shrimp crackers. It looks luxurious. The taste was fantastic and surprisingly the price was very affordable. There's also free fragrant tea. Highly recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: I recalled there was a gado-gado on the menu, which is a mixture of steamed vegetables with peanut sauce. I should definitely try it next time. Dietary restrictions: Halal food
