I'm going to take time here to bore anyone looking for a Tuesday meal,. Gourmet nights are there for a reason! Everyone is trying to save pennies in this madness of increases. So now I'll explain a little deeper,. I've always judged food on taste,. Not the actual venue,. I've eaten the best breakfasts in cafés that look shabby, yet are clean and the food is beautiful,. So why add that,. Because I'm fussy, yeah x chef, not and Indian chef! I can cook Indian food and I prefer to taste spices as well at tge actual meat, 16 years ago I took my partner to the baltistan and the food was amazing,. Ok it was gourmet #I like to try different flavours, £9 each comes to mind, lol obviously inflation has taken its toll,. But!!!!!!! Tonight I revisited the baltistan and I cannot put into words the food they serve,. Ok it's gone up in price, but I. Have payed ok a 2quid less in other gourmet restaurants around Luton and Dunstable,. But the baltistan hasn't changed, they don't kill their food with garamasala,. Each dish had its own unique flavours and to me that's worth every bit of £3,. And the fact it's had the same owners since before I first went there says it all. I don't recommend it,. I'm telling you if you want quality not box standard beautiful Indian cuisine vist the Baltistan. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
