This was my first time back at Bar B Q Base after more than 15 years. Sadly, they seem to have forgotten how to make chicken burgers. Previously, it was simple and great tasting; barbequed chicken fillet, served in a bun with salad and sauces. And most importantly, cooked fresh to order. This time, there was too much going on and the quality has dropped dramatically. The chicken fillet came out pre-cooked out of a tub. Warmed up (not freshly cooked!) on the grill with cheese thrown on top. Lots of brioche buns were already on the grill so they completely dry out and the edges go hard. We asked for salad and all sauces but somehow the burger still tasted dry. We ordered 7 of these for the family and it was a big mistake and let down. Luckily we got the chips from the chippy nearby and they were fresh. I ordered through the app to get 10% off the first order. It gave an estimated time but it went 10 minutes over. Customer service is poor as well, the guy couldn't even crack a smile. He kept seeing me waiting as well and didn't even have the courtesy to give an update. I don't know why Bar B Q Base doesn't barbeque the chicken fillets anymore, fresh to order like they used to. We waited for 40 minutes, so surely that's enough time to put chicken fillets on the rotissary barbeque. I would avoid this place for burgers. They seem popular for other items as it was really busy on a Saturday evening. But I won't be coming back here again. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
