After many years we visited the Bar Celona again with high hopes. The ambience was nice and gave us hope. However, the food was also for tapas and at that price so little that we would have needed at least twice as much. The sauce was mostly the same. Even aioli, which we love to make ourselves and is so incredibly cheap to make, was only served in a tiny bowl. Here, too, the ratio with the garlic was not right. The octopus was cut into thin slices, added to a kind of spring salad, drowned in vinegar and vegetables, you couldn't taste it and at that price. The prawns came 1/3 empty as empty shells, for which they apologized but nothing was delivered. Patatas bravas in measly portions. In addition, we wanted to order a bottle of wine with our meal and were sitting next to a full wine fridge, but were only offered the house wine several times. The only choice was between red, white and rosé. As soon as the jug was ordered and was on the table with the water we had ordered, the music suddenly turned off at 9:30 p.m., which showed us that we were no longer welcome. We were a bit perplexed by this unpleasant situation and ended up sitting in silence at the table with our wine for almost an hour. Under the circumstances we wouldn't have ordered anything else.
