Wonderful setting and good service from all staff but unfortunately my food was a bit of a joke. I ordered scrambled eggs on toast which I thought would be simple to cook but unfortunately it came on what can only be described as bread. It was not toasted at all, not even lightly and I sent it back. After a 10 minute wait in which time my dad had finished his pasty, which was barely warm, so I had to eat alone, the scrambled egg came back in a bowl instead of on the toast like the first time, and it was swimming in water. I tried to sieve the eggs out but when I had a mouthful all I got was liquid bursting into my mouth. It was like eating an oyster, it was horrid so again I had to send it back. The manageress though was exceptional and could not apologise enough. I got a full refund and a hot pasty to take away which was very nice. I will be going back to barnacutts but I won't be having scrambled egg, at least not at the Bodmin branch! ! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
