Lovely hole in the wall in Kilburn. Quiet street location and a very cosy, bright interior with checked tablecloths and pictures of Brazil’s beauty all around including a fabo aerial view of Christ the Redeemer. I got the acarajé and it was so filling; the creamy yellow sauce was delicious. Six crunchy patties came with the order. I do wish the accompanying prawns came deshelled. An order of the bacalao croquettes was so tasty: not greasy and it came with a giant slice of lemon. My husband had the beef with beans, rice and farofa. He greatly enjoyed his filling meal. The caipirinha was on point. Service was a bit slow - could have taken away plates a lot quicker. But a minor complaint overall. Obrigada! My family and I went to Kaipiras for the first time and had a fantastic time! The starters and mains were delicious! Coxinha de galinha, risole e bolinho de bacalhau were amazing! We had moquecas, vaca e feijoada; all authentic and delicious! We had pudim de leite for dessert, cold pints and a Caipirinha. Everything was excellent! Rodrigo's service was friendly and very professional! Chef Danilo está de parabéns! All in all a very good experience! We highly recommend Kaipiras by Barraco and will definitely go back! Obrigada!
