Sadly me and my family (3 of us) just went in this evening waited 15 minutes to be seated then to be told as we are not staying at the premier Inn, we could not eat there as they are not taking walk in but no notice on door or anywhere in view did it say this. I however did notice it was dead quite in there which I don’t understand why the couldn’t except 3 paying customers. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch

We had a weekend away at Barnstaple and we decided to have dinner at Table Table Barum Gate. Gaynor was our waitress and she went over and above to serve us with not just food but also friendliness. She made the experience for us worth while. Every restaurant needs a Gaynor. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Recommended dishes: Beef Burger, Beer-Battered Haddock§ & Chips, Prawn Cocktail Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

Went for Sunday roast with family on 25th September at midday. All roast dinners arrived were stone cold. When we complained and said we couldn't eat them, they removed them from table only to return a few minutes later with the same plates only having dinged them. So therefore yorkshires and meat had gone chewy and inedible. Would never recommend going there again for a roast dinner. Offered a discount on all meals that was had there but when bill arrived discount was only given roast meals. I felt sorry for the girl on front of house as she didn't know what to do and had to speak to manager, whom we never saw.
