Lovely little cafe as short walk from the sports area/football pitches - turn left out of the football pitches & follow the road past the shops & on the right around the bend & a little up the small road. Hidden away but warm & cosy inside & outdoor seating. Quite a few cyclists & passers by. Small farm shop & toilet also there is car parking & the cafe was open on a Sunday. The staff were nice & tables clean. Muffins & crisis as well as selection of coffee & teas. Also sone hot food which looked delicious. Coffee a little small at £3.80 but small business need to meet costs so same everywhere but it was nice & the decor & atmosphere was lovely & relaxing. Horrible service..slapdash and disinterested. Coffee plonked down on table with no saucer or spoon..a cupcake put on a huge plate for my grandson..no effort at presentation. Avocado on toast...freezing cold avo on one small wafer thin piece of toadt..so thin it was like a crispbread!! This meagre affair cost me £17... Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Drove up to Aylesbury from London to visit this lovely, family-run cafe and farmers market. The location is great, off the main road but you feel like you’re in the middle of the country. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated and feels very homey. The service was incredible, all of the staff were very friendly and were able to talk about the menu and make recommendations. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and tasted divine! Overall I would recommend Base Coffee + Kitchen to everyone. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Sweetcorn Fritters with Avocado Vegetarian options: Lots of yummy vegetarian options available.
