Popped in here for a few light bites and some cocktails as a birthday thing, mid-afternoon on a Monday. Polite, quick service and well-made food. No complaints about the drinks. Could do much worse and would consider coming here again for a bigger meal. Price per person: £20–30

Came here on a busy Friday evening for the first time and was really pleased with everything. The service was efficient, especially given that we were quite a big table. The drink selection was really good, so much so I’ve already booked back in for a bottomless brunch! The whole table mentioned how tasty the food was so that was a really big win. As a Mexican, I was quite disappointed with the tacos, as the flavor was not close to authentic Mexican cuisine. The margaritas also seemed to have very little tequila and tasted more like lemonade. When I asked the waitress, she explained that the bartender said this was the standard recipe, and unfortunately there was no offer to adjust it (even if we were willing to pay extra for an additional shot). Overall, the food and drinks did not meet our expectations, and the staff could have been more proactive. I hope Batida can improve these aspects in the future.
