You would think that a venue literally on the doorstep to the beach front would be amazing. How wrong we were unfortunately. We were part of a large party that had pre-booked tables. We had planned to only have “drinks and snacks” but the party were told that this wasn’t possible as those who wanted to eat had to select food from the main menu. Ok no problem. However, when it came to ordering food the waitress serving was very rude and abrasive and told me she would not take my order as there was an hours wait on food and she would be back in 15 minutes. I spoke with the manager of this establishment who stated they were not expecting our large group to eat off the main menu as we were meant to be there for drinks and snacks only. So my question is why did they not allow us to have drinks and snacks and asked us instead to order from the main menu? I was also told by the manager that on top of this they wanted to ensure that the children of our party got served food. I explained that unfortunately my 2 year old daughter was refused food due to the above rude and abrasive staff member. All in all if your looking for a place to eat there’s a small shack just up around the corner that has pleasant staff and great food. It also looks like they receive unhappy customers from the South Beach Bar Grill as I heard a few talking to staff about the appalling service and attitudes of staff. Also if your ordering drinks, this establishment takes your money/ gives you the bill before serving drinks to your party. Will not be visiting again.
