Served us pink sausages from the carvery. When we raised it we they didn't even check the batch. Just heard the chef shouting "they're fine" from the kitchen (he refused to actually check). The waiter took one look and said "yeah I wouldn't eat it either". The worst part- they carried on serving them. Chefs ego over food safety. Really poor. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

You pick the right time and everything else falls into place. No waiting around and food in good time from ordering. You get your typical favourite dishes which tasted really good . The wait seemed to be having a good day, very playful with the kids a new most of the characters kids where interested in. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Dietary restrictions: Tell the staff

My wife and I ate at The Beachcomber Inn in Minehead today and it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. We both ordered the Super Bowl with a 5oz Chargrilled Rump Steak (£13.99 each). I also paid an extra £4 to add another 5oz steak to my bowl. The food arrived very late and it was cold. The bigger issue was the “extra” steak I paid for. My bowl had the same amount of steak as my wife’s standard bowl. I took the plate to a staff member and explained the problem. After 5-10 minutes, a male staff member came over and told me the chef measures the steak and that my extra steak was definitely included. I then showed him my wife’s plate and pointed out that both bowls clearly had the same amount of meat. He still insisted mine had more and even said, “In my opinion, yours has more.” That’s not an acceptable response when the two plates are right there to compare. He offered to refund the £4 but refused to acknowledge that the portion was wrong. I accepted the refund, and a few minutes later he brought £4 in change and said “sorry about that.” This isn’t about £4. It’s about paying for something and being treated like I’m lying or trying to scam a refund when I simply wanted what I paid for. The way this was handled was unprofessional, and I won’t be returning. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Go there if you want to waste your money and be humiliated.
