Fantastic, varied and 'not the norm,' menu-made it difficult to choose! Delicious food, well presented, all good including kids came out in great time, piping hot and devoured quickly! We are outside, but inside looked like it was fancy and comfortable. Outdoors, there was a covered yurt area, pergola covered area and plenty of picnic benches too. We ate at dinner time on a Saturday and it was not very busy. Would definitely come again! Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The pub is well situated just on the way out of Godstone, with a decent sized car park. The garden is pleasant a good family space. The server was pleasant and friendly. My food was lukewarm warm. I had order something called monkfish ‘scampi’, I’ve had this before,but their versions are what I’d describe as fish goujons, not the same thing,more posh fish fingers. They were kind enough to remove it from the bill with no fuss, but I do feel it needs a different name/description. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I had a fantastic experience at the Bell Inn Godstone, and everything about this place exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and professional staff. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and full of character, making it a perfect place for both casual visits and special occasions.The food was excellent, freshly prepared and full of flavour. The menu offers a great variety, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients. Everything was cooked perfectly and presented well. Drinks were also great, with a good selection of beers, wines, and spirits. The service really stood out attentive without being intrusive, efficient, and genuinely caring. The pub itself is clean, cosy, and beautifully maintained, with a lovely traditional feel. Whether you’re stopping by for a meal, drinks, or a longer visit, it’s a very comfortable place to be. Overall, the Bell Inn Godstone offers excellent food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. It’s a place that clearly takes pride in what it does. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
