The service here was extremely memorable and not bad in the tiniest way possible. Chef Sharon’s food was excellent and every bite was full of flavour . Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Great value for money, generous portions. We had the carvery. One of us was slightly disappointed with only receiving fatty slices, despite most of the meat still being on the bone. Food was tasty though. It would have been nice to be approached sooner (more orders), especially as it was not a particularly busy early evening. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Whilst staying in Minster for a few days, we decided to search for a traditional style pub which serves food. How lucky we now feel to have stumbled upon The Bell Inn on High Street, Minster, For starters we shared a platter for 2, then my wife then feasted on a rack off ribs with chips and a corn cobette, whist I enjoyed a steak and Stilton homemade pie, with mashed potatoes and vegetables. For desert my wife had the spotted dick and I had a golden syrup sponge, both with custard. Now here's the thing, we both really really enjoyed every bite, all food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious, even if we tried to, we couldn't have found fault with anything. It really did exceed all our expectations, 10 out of 10. As for the service, again I must give a 10 out of 10, we were served by a young man called Ethan, very polite, helpful and professional. We spoke to the manageress briefly who's name we failed to catch, a very nice lady who is absolutely on her A-game. We sat in the bar area after food and were made to feel very welcomed by the locals, friendly and humorous conversation, topping off a fantastic night. We were so pleased with the overall experience, we decided that we would come again for a short break during the summer, and even though there is a pub over the road from our hotel, we would very much prefer to dine in The Bell Inn.
