I’m quite a fussy individual when it comes to cafés. There’s not many places that will allow you to make your own selection however this lovely little gem allowed me to make my boring vanilla selections without picking from the scripted menu. The staff for a good laugh and had great banter. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Binnies Cafe is an absolute gem and everything a traditional English cafe should be. It's a no-frills, homely spot, full of life thanks to the local community, where the focus is simply on great, honest food cooked to order and served with a smile . It genuinely feels like visiting your nan's for a weekend fry-up . The food is outstanding. I had the Billy Bunter special, a huge, nostalgic breakfast that was perfectly cooked – the eggs were spot on, the bacon was savory, and everything was fresh and hot . The portions are very generous, and the value is incredible. It's a really nice touch that tea or coffee, as well as orange or apple juice, is included with most breakfasts . The staff are brilliant – incredibly friendly, personal, and always up for a bit of banter with regulars . They make you feel right at home. Even when it's packed (which it often is!), the wait time for food is still low . It's clean, has a 5-star food hygiene rating , and is simply a wonderful place to start your day. If you're in Bournemouth, you cannot miss it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
