I went 2 weekends In a row and the 2nd weekend I wasn’t aloud a drink because apparently the week before I was rude to bar staff when I would never be rude to bar staff, very confusing rude manager! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Full gastro pub...turn up without a reservation and you will be treated like you have three heads and certainly not get fed...on plus side beer is well kept. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian options: One vegetarian option Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

It was a beautiful sunny day, and we wanted to have a drink somewhere, we live locally but had never been to the Bird in hand. A friend had recommended it to us. Its a beautiful looking pub from the front, just opposite the local shop. It has a huge carpark. A nice seating are at the rear and fairly large seating are at the front, we prefered to sit out front. Super friendly and helpful staff. Food served all day. Nice selection of beers. We had the gish and chips, they were lovely, I mean really nice, nicely presented too. Will definitely be back. I'm told food items change on the menu quite regularly. A must visit pub. Price per person: £40–50
