Fantastic pub with a brilliant atmosphere! The food was absolutely delicious — generous portions, great quality, and proper pub classics done really well. The drinks selection is excellent too, with plenty of choices whether you fancy a pint, wine, or something a bit different. What really makes this place stand out is the staff. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and attentive, making us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for families, friends, or a casual evening out. The garden area is especially lovely and adds to the overall experience. Highly recommend The Black Prince — great food, great drinks, and genuinely great people. Will definitely be coming back! DO NOT FORGET TO REGISTER YOUR CAR IF YOU PARK THERE. The place is nice, not crowded, and we received our drinks quickly. A friend of mine regularly comes here with his family for dinner and likes it. This time we only stopped for drinks and things went a bit sideways. I paid about £13.50 for a Moretti and a house wine spritz with soda — this turned out to be overcharged by mistake. About two weeks later I received a £100 parking charge for that evening. We arrived late, used the side entrance, and did not notice the registration requirement, and we were not informed at the bar — so we missed it. However, after I contacted the pub, they handled everything quickly and kindly — the parking charge was cancelled and they apologised for the pricing error as well. Mistakes happen — what matters is how they are handled, and in this case the response was prompt and professional. Thank you. Price per person: £10–20

I agree that the charge for the two drinks seems high, if you have your receipt I can check this for you. Regarding the parking ticket we do have signs and we usually try to inform guests as well, if you have the ticket or can give me the details I will gladly have this cancelled for you.
