First visit and Pre booked a table on arrival went to bar advised had booked a table lady behind bar looked shocked we booked a table and went and asked someone else what to do then she took us to the table and that was it just left us with out telling us we had to go back to bar to order or telling us where the carvery actually was the food was ok most things had ran out but got replenished quick was 12:00 we were there so wasn’t like late in day

**Review of The Bluebell Middlesbrough: 1 Star** I had a distressing experience at The Bluebell Middlesbrough that I feel compelled to share, especially to warn potential solo female travelers. At around 1:25 AM, a man unexpectedly entered my room using a key, claiming that the reception had mistakenly assigned him to my room. This alarming breach in security could have had more severe consequences, particularly if the guest had been a vulnerable female. The hotel layout with only one exit exacerbates the safety risk, as it would be difficult to escape if someone entered with bad intentions. As a male, I was deeply concerned, but the potential risk to solo female travelers is even more troubling. Given these significant safety issues, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel, especially for women traveling alone. This incident indicates a serious lapse in the hotel's security protocols and undermines any trust in their ability to safeguard their guests.
