Always have the best meal,the best service and the best time at the blue boar. I highly recommend a visit. The staff are amazing!! Always happy to help and can't do enough to make sure you have everything you need. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Found this lovely place for evening food, that's dog friendly. Hosts where very accommodating for us both with a dog. Food was amazing had inside out Kiev and cheesecake. Would go again when in area next. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

Absolutely horrendous Christmas Lunch for 6. Ruined Christmas. Sat at scruffy tables (could have put a cloth on them) on wobbly, hard chairs for 3hrs - we were allocated 2hrs 15mins & left as soon as finished. Pre-paid & pre-ordered but still a 50min wait for starters. Another long wait for Main, which quite frankly was disgusting: Turkey Roulade - small, pre-formed; parsnips, carrots & stuffing so hard you couldn’t cut them (did tell waitress, but not even a drink to say sorry); no potatoes on one meal?? and sprouts & cauliflower mushy. ANOTHER lengthy wait for pudding (staff now getting impatient wanting table for next sitting). Absolutely tasteless Xmas pudding (not homemade), rubbery & served with raspberry ripple icecream??? Absolute waste of over £400 for my 81yr old parents who were with us & was their treat.
Rating: zero but had to leave one star to post
