Online, looks the bomb with great prices, smart layout, great pics of their dishes, etc. Their website game is strong. Then, you visit (they don't deliver to bh1 post code so we drove there off the back of recommendations) and there's a disconnect between their smart looking website and 1) the shop and 2) the food. Try it out for yourselves and I'm happy to be corrected if I'm wrong. I'm a firm believer in expecting value for your hard earned money and when places don't deliver, I'm genuinely disappointed. The shop isn't what you'd expect after visiting their website. The food (bearing in mind we drove back with it and ate it at home after being handed it- 15 mins after, it was still hot) tasted old (as in old ingredients) and drowned in lots of fluid (oils, sauce, water, etc). For example, the special fried rice was watery. I've had enough and cooked enough special fried rice to know it's not meant to be watery in consistency. I can imagine Gordon Ramsay doing a Kitchen Nightmares episode there, sitting down, trying the food and saying, " that tastes like that's been microwaved" or "the ingredients were frozen, not fresh". Anyway, long story short, we bought £30+ of food in our 1st visit there and felt it was a waste of our money and fuel, spent. We didn't finish our food ( the vegetarian rice dish my mrs tried wasn't tasty and even she gave up) which isn't normal for us. The English lad manning the till who took our order was friendly, welcoming and polite. My review possibly goes against the grain of about 70%+ of other users of Full House so please understand this is a review based on only our 1st ever use of this Chinese takeaway. We won't be ordering from there again as it's a long drive for us and this experience is not something we want to go through again. Thanks for reading! Ordered crispy duck pancakes from the Fullhouse Chinese Takeaway at Seaview and received rotten food!!
The cucumber was rotten and slimy and the spring onions were yellow. Phoned to complain and the girl on the phone said "what's the problem, it's only cucumber"!! The cucumber and onions are part of the main dish and not a side order. Will NOT be ordering from there again!! Disgusting rotten food and service!!
