Overall service was fantastic and the food really was as good as it looks!! Will definitely be visiting again!!

No longer called the Bosuns table, its now the Courtyard Great food, relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Use bosun's table regularly, location and food is good and staff are lovely usually however experienced very poor service at last visit. A staff member was extremely rude which was very disappointing. Ordered for takeaway and took over 15 mins for 2 drinks, as I was standing there with my crying baby I said to my mum, " God it's taking a while, 3 hours later" obviously being sarcastic (at this point we had not complained to staff or anything about the wait, just talking to each other, I have worked in hospitality for years and know how it can be) and the waitress walked past and butted in and said " actually you haven't been waiting 3 hours, your ticket only came on at such a such time! And your saying 3 hours!" . I said "excuse me I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to my mum.". How rude to speak like that to a paying customer who hadn't complained, standing with a screaming baby. I was obviously being sarcastic in a conversation to my mum and you could see I was struggling to settle my baby at the same time.Totally unacceptable and rude. So disappointing. When we got our drinks, unfortunately the lids did not fit our coffees either. Overall, this visit has put me off. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Takeaway
