Having called to make a booking weeks in advance, it was very frustrating to arrive to find said booking apparently didn't exist in their system. To make it worse the host/manager wasn't at all bothered by this. Luckily they had a spare table that we ended up having instead, however in hindsight we wish we had gone elsewhere at this point. The service was incredibly slow with inattentive staff, despite not being that busy, and we had to ask multiple times to be served. When the food eventually arrived after a long wait, one meal and the side of another meal arrived significantly later than the rest. Disappointly, one meal was also overcooked to the point it couldn't be finished and two others were undercooked and cold. Having planned to stay for drinks after the meal, it became apparent we should cut our losses and go elsewhere. When we asked for the bill, we were then asked to check the receipt they brought was actually for our table which was strange. An excellent DJ and music made a great atmosphere but unfortunately the service and food let it down so would not recommend eating there. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £30–40

Massive thank you to Jo for looking after us, so attentive and lovely, always paying attention to when food/drinks need replenishing! Botanica Halls has a great vibe and a good selection of food and drinks. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Joe, whom was our server for the evening (04.09.2026) was absolutely wonderful. She always gave us service with a smile, was very humorous and amicable and overall made the experience a 5/5 - thank you Joe! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
