Had a wonderful experience at Bow & Bend Rooftop. The view was stunning overlooking the river and city and the food and service was even better! Alex was very good to us and I would recommend this place for sharing food and drinks with friends and family and even for a romantic date night with your loved one. Thank you for taking care of us! The restaurant itself is really beautiful and I would recommend it if you’re looking for a place to have drinks with a nice view and ambience. Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with the food. The menu has great variety and options for different diets which is nice, and the presentation is beautiful. However, in terms of the food quality, I’ve had better meals at Boston Pizza. The whipped ricotta was probably the best thing we had but it was very bland and lacking texture. The truffle rigatoni was cooked perfectly but again, extremely bland, and the sauce tasted like it was made of cream and truffle oil with no seasoning. The bison burger was quite flavourful and nice! But the potato wedges it comes with also tasted like they had not been seasoned. Overall I would come back for the cocktails which were really nice, and the restaurant itself has a beautiful and comfortable setting to spend time with friends and family. Maybe we came on an off night, but would be reluctant to order dinner again knowing that the dishes would be filling but not tasty.
