Food very good. Excellent prices Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Dietary restrictions: Near by car park. About 5 mins away.

After visiting Minehead for many years we finally decided to stop in at Brambles for some hot drinks. The owner was happy to let us in with a dog and we were impressed with the reasonable prices. However, we found the owner to be rude. The owner was clearly annoyed because whilst deciding what to have we ordered one hot chocolate and then asked to add on a further two hot chocolates. This was clearly too much trouble and we received an eye roll for this and rather than heating up more milk he used hot water for the additional hot chocolates. We also ordered a tea and found the mug to be covered in sugar and a cafetiere of coffee, the outside of which needed a clean. Needless to say we won't be visiting again as there are much nicer cafes in Minehead. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Do not go here if you value your health! We thought it looked cheap and cheerful from the outside, but upon entering soon realised - it was just cheap and disgusting. The chap who served us and cooked our food had filthy black fingernails, there was an overall lack of cleanliness through the whole cafe and no hygiene rating to be seen anywhere. Whilst the prices were very reasonable, you can certainly understand why. We decided to cut our visit short once we saw the hairs on the plates and dirty cutlery.
