Honestly, what a find. Didn’t expect somewhere like this tucked away. The whisky selection is seriously impressive, especially if you’re into bourbon, but they’ve also got a great mix from all over the world. Big shoutout to Nick behind the bar really friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly knows his stuff. Made the whole experience even better. If you’re into whisky at all, this place is definitely worth checking out. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Brighton Rocks is a recent discovery for me...is it too cheesy to say it, well, rocks? With the fire on its so cosy and there's enough room to host bigger groups or break off into smaller corners if you're a couple. It feels homely and friendly; service has always been excellent and the drinks aren't cheap, but very reasonably priced for this day and age. They also allow you to bring or order food in, which is extremely welcome. Highly recommended spot in Kempton! Price per person: £20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely dinner for 2. Everything was including the guidance from the staff. The highlight was the pork belly which really drove home how bad most other restaurant's pork belly offerings are. This was clearly made slowly and with great skill. Also fun exploring their range of South American wines by the glass. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
