A really friendly pub which has a well presented menu, full of choice for every pallet. The staff were welcoming and presented themselves in a professional manor. Our waitress was Laura, who had a wonderful sense of humour along with a fantastic work ethic. We were a large group with different pallets amd not one of us left the venue feeling hungry or out of pocket. A big WELL DONE to all the staff for making a wonderful night. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome pub, REALLY nice food, and absolutely amazing service and great banter by Laura! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £30–40 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Halloumi burger was generous and fries were crunchy and fresh. Eaton mess is a definition of gastronomic hedonism!

I have eaten at the Brouge Gastropub for Sunday lunch three or four times in the past and as it was my mother’s birthday Sunday I booked a table for seven people, as always the staff are pleasant and helpful. Five of us ordered the mix meat roast which should have been lamb and beef, when my roast arrived there was three roast potatoes a large Yorkshire pudding two halves of carrot two slices of parsnips and some broccoli and three thinly sliced pieces of meat and a splash of gravy. I don’t know if they had a lot of orders for the mixed meat roast and were running short of meat but the three pieces together would not have been a mouthful and all five of us said we could have done with more meat than what we got. As I said I have been there before and it’s usually really good but this time it was a let down, the total bill came to £313 and usually the food is worth the money but sorry not this time. Food: 3 Service: 4 Price per person: £30–40

Thank you for your feedback. We look into portion control for all our menus regularly but we will check the 2025 Sunday Lunch menu again for the roasts.
