I really had high hopes for this bakery, as I'm always looking for new places I can visit for a cake or pastry. I loved all the branding on the boxes and bags, and the staff seemed lovely and friendly. Unfortunately I picked up some items on my way around the Hollowell Steam Rally on Sunday, July 5th, but got home and every box and bag was soaked through with grease. The bread was stale, and after trying the dry cake, it tasted like damp mold. Maybe food transporting or storage issues; nevertheless, I won't be buying again, unfortunately. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

My sister is a huge fan of any and all cakes and breads from Brown bread so I ordered a cake for her baby shower. Despite being so disorganised they replied quickly, easily and had the nosh decision red velvet sheet cake which huge slices ready for us to collect. Everyone mentioned how delicious it was. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was recently informed that Brownbread is in attendance at Hilliers in Sunningdale every Saturday. When I attended, there was a bit of a queue, but did not have to wait a long time to be served. There were both cakes and a variety of bread available. The woman who was serving gave me an exceptionally generous portion of cake, which I appreciated. She was very friendly and nice. She was also exceptionally enthusiastic about the cakes. The chocolate muffins also looked really good. ***These people were recently in Petersfield for the market. The customer service was excellent and wonderful. Everything was nicely presented and looked extremely delicious. I hope that the people who worked at the Petersfield Market in the afternoon of 26 February 2022 get the opportunity to read this and just know how much their kindness and enthusiasm was appreciated.***
