Since binge watching Bake Off the Professionals and seeing that one of the excellent contestant winners from series 6 was running this cafe we had to make a visit from Bristol. We had a delicious meal thank you, loved the milk buns which came with the buffalo chicken, and the excellent tiramisu. We went a bit mad buying cakes to take home for family. Ended the day at home eating a perfect patisserie lemon meringue pie/tart in front of another episode. Light crispy pastry the perfect thickness, fresh lemon filling and sweet soft meringue. Absolute perfection thank you Already planning another visit. Just wish we had found you at the start of my daughter's degree in Cardiff Booking recommended as it was quite busy. Have visited Buds on a number of occasions now and am convinced it’s one of Cardiff’s best eateries! I would call it a hidden gem but the fact that it’s consistently full would suggest it’s not so hidden - book a table if you want to go for food! The food is so delicious - definitely best hash browns I’ve ever had. The meaty breakfast is just so good. It’s worth noting that their poached eggs tend to be less cooked than people might prefer so be aware of that if ordering. The cakes and pastries are also delicious, and coffee good too! The interior is light and airy and there is garden space too. High chairs are available. We have enjoyed Buds for everything from coffee and pastries, to special occasion lunches and will continue to return! Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a gorgeous spot this is. Warm and friendly staff. Definitely one of the best veggie breakfasts i've ever had. Gorgeous sweet treats on sale. I loved my massive slice of carrot cake. Highly recommend a visit. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
