We visited Café Grande on a Saturday evening at around 7:30 pm for coffee and dessert. When we arrived, we were the only customers, which made for a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The café is elegantly decorated, with comfortable seating that makes it easy to sit back and unwind. Our table had already been laid impeccably with cutlery, giving the impression that the venue takes pride in its presentation and attention to detail. The service was excellent throughout—friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. The dessert was outstanding and exactly what you would expect from an establishment of this standard. It was beautifully presented, tasted fantastic, and was clearly made using high-quality ingredients. The prices are certainly on the higher side, but in this case I felt they were justified by the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the elegant surroundings. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Overall, Café Grande is a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing coffee and dessert, and I would happily return. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a wonderful breakfast. Full Scottish was great. We also had veggie, benedict on gf toast, and french toast at the table. The coffee was very good and for me the best thing was the toast. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: They have a GF menu if you ask.

Very poor quality for the price. Each dish should have been at least 6-7 £ less than what it was. £25 for a fish soup , £8.50 for a packet dessert. Students serving with zero training. Really disappointing Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
